We signed Caleb up for a music camp. At this camp Caleb has the opportunity to play his cello and sing in a choir. He is very excited about it.
He finished packing, we went to church, and then we hit the road.
We drove for about two hours to get to the college where he will be for the week. We saw plenty of fields.
We got there and registered him and then we went to get him checked into his room.
We got him unpacked, made his bed, and then we headed back over to the music hall for his audition.

After the audition, we had him walk back to the dorms so that he would get a sense of the campus and the paths he would need to follow. When we got back to the dorm, his roommate was there (he had a much earlier audition, so his parents had left and he was there by himself) and we left Caleb with his roommate.
I am excited for Caleb to have this experience, however, I do miss my boy.

crazy! i remember going to a soccer camp like that one year out here. I felt like I was so grown up! =)
I loved Dorian!!! I went for like 3 summers in a row. It was the BEST! Caleb is going to have an awesome week. It really is so much fun, and I'm even a little jealous of him!
Misty - didn't you have older siblings near where you went to camp?
Holly, he was so excited. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Your mom said to take money because there is an ice cream shop that he can go to.
All of that makes me feel more at ease.

I know Misty went to a soccer camp at BYU the same week I went in to the MTC. We had to pick her up early to go to lunch and the MTC and she was all dressed in her soccer stuff.
They grow up so fast. Don't miss him too much this week.
MUSIC Camp is the best! (of course I'm not biased, hee hee)
So I guess school is out for your kids? I still have one more week of teaching-yikes!
How fun. Dawn I can't believe your hair is so LONG. I would have never pictured you with long hair. BTW nic to see a pic of you on your blog every once in awhile.
