We have witnessed a few dead things this year. First the frog when we were getting our garden ready. We also had a dead duck in the road on one of the last days of school. Then there was the dead mouse in the window. We are also constantly dealing with dead fish. Here is what I can share with you!
This poor fellow was in the road one morning when Brett was on his way to work. The children saw it when they were going to school, and about the time that they got on the bus, the garbage man was coming by. I got my snow shovel and scooped it up into the neighbor's garbage can and sent it away.
We had a little rodent problem outside of the boys' window. We took care of it! Emily had to take a picture or twenty of the dead mouse.

That is just too disgusting...why are you such morbid people?!
YUCK!!!!
gross. and...the frog is a little disturbing. did you put it there or is that actually how it died?
I think when you have boys, especially first, it leads to morbiddity (is that even a word?).
No, the frog did actually die like that, Brett chopped its leg off and then he had to finish the job, so the chopped it in half with the shovel. Then they were looking at it. Did you know that it still has a sticky tongue when it is dead?
From the Webster's
Morbiddity (n) little old ladies talking about death.
